Great walks: Vettisfossen, Utladalen - Norway Part 1

2 Great Walks in Utladalen – the valley into Jotunheimen.
Utladalen is considered to be unique in Norway and internationally and is located in the Jotunheimen mountain range. Utladalen is Norway's deepest valley and is surrounded by dozens of mountain peaks that are all more than 2,000 metres.

Day 1 Vettisfossen
Walked from Hjelle up to Vettisfossen, a comfortable walk. The road passes through Vetti and crosses the Utla river on four spectacular bridges. The walking path ends at one of Norway's tallest waterfalls, Vettisfossen. The waterfall has a single drop of 275 metres (902 ft). This is the highest fall in North Europa which is not regulated through a hydroelectric power station.
